10,000 Small Businesses success for APC Cardiovascular

Stephen Law-Lyons, Managing Director of APC Cardiovascular has successfully completed the 10,000 Small Businesses programme, funded by Goldman Sachs and in partnership with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Participating in over 100 hours of online and in-person sessions, Stephen relished the opportunity to join fellow entrepreneurs in gaining access to education and business support services, at this particularly difficult economic time.

With new products on the horizon, the APC team work hard to bring you a comprehensive range of cardiology, radiation protection and interventional products.

Having graduated into the Alumni, Stephen will continue to develop to use his learnings to invest in the future of the company, and develop the product offering available through innovation and market expansion.

“Taking part in the 10k Small Businesses programme was a fantastic experience, the whole course was thought provoking and educational. Not only that, but I’ve been able to network with a wide range of business owners from multiple industries, and I’ve learnt an awful lot.

Going through the experience during the Covid-19 pandemic was challenging, but it also highlighted to me the importance of long-term strategic planning to safeguard the future of the business.

At times it was quite difficult to balance addressing the immediate business concerns with the requirements of completing the programme, but as a group we were able to navigate through the crisis and efficiently complete the programme remotely.”
