Tough Competition in Director Awards 2020
This week saw the culmination of the IoD North West and Isle of Man Director of the Year Awards 2020.
Originally scheduled to take place in Manchester in May, Covid19 had other ideas, and after much deliberating, it was decided to host the awards virtually, and allow everyone to come together in a non-conventional but memorable manner on 15th July 2020.
APC Cardiovascular’s Managing Director Stephen Law-Lyons was a Finalist in the category of “Small to Medium Businesses,” alongside 12 of his peers. Unfortunately, the win was not meant to be this year, but that hasn’t put a downer on the event.
Over the past 8 years at the helm of APC, Stephen has successfully demonstrated his dedication to lead a small but mighty team, supported by his wife and Operations Director Amanda Law-Lyons.
Speaking after the ceremony, Stephen commented “I had no ambitions of winning against such an awesome group, my win was just getting short listed. Ono Okeregha is doing a fantastic job at the Immigration Advice Service and is a worthy winner of this award.”
